I serve as a Literacy Leadership Coach with NWGA RESA, supporting district and school leaders in strengthening literacy instruction, building educator capacity, and implementing effective literacy initiatives. As I begin my sixteenth year in education, I am passionate about equipping educators with the knowledge and tools needed to help every student become a confident, capable reader and writer.

I hold an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Shorter University. I also hold endorsements in Dyslexia, Coaching, and Teacher Support and Coaching and am certified in Orton-Gillingham and LETRS. As a LETRS local facilitator, I enjoy helping educators deepen their understanding of the science of reading and effective literacy instruction.

Beyond my work in education, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, volunteering at church, being outdoors in nature, and having a good book to read.
