I bring more than 20 years of experience in education, with a background in elementary teaching, literacy and instructional coaching, professional learning, program development, and higher education. Throughout my career, I have supported teachers, coaches, and school leaders in strengthening evidence-based literacy instruction, using assessment and student data to inform instructional decisions, and translating research into practical classroom practice. My work has also included developing professional learning, supporting educator preparation and endorsement programs, and creating tools and systems that help educators move from evidence to action.

I believe the most effective coaching begins with listening, building relationships, and understanding the unique strengths and needs of each school and district. My goal is to partner with literacy coaches and leaders to build on the strong work already underway while identifying meaningful opportunities for continued growth. I am especially passionate about developing the capacity of coaches, strengthening Tier 1 literacy instruction, and creating sustainable systems that support both educators and students.

Ultimately, I hope to help coaches and educators feel knowledgeable, supported, and confident in their work so that every student has access to strong literacy instruction and the opportunity to grow as a reader and writer.
